Infinity art is an exciting new beginning of stained glass possibilities, backed by 20 years of quality work and experience. My name Is Christopher Neill Johnson and I'm an avid stained glass creator and art enthusiast. I design, repair and paint on glass. With my original patterns I have utilized many creations, concepts, ideas and sketches.
From the start my ambition has been to construct glass designs that are more intricate then most, optimizing their articulation. My feed back from my customers is that they are thrilled with what I do, and I'm ecstatic to have them be part of my business and to be my acquaintance. I believe passion in what you do yields the most potential for the best product. I ensure the customers get exactly what they envision and obtain what satisfies their artistic curiosity.
I have taken extensive stained glass lessons at Prairie Staind Glass. There I learned patience as well as the meticulous process involved with starting with making a pattern all the way to the lovely end results. I have repaired various pieces, some have said better then the original condition.
My passion for art started when I was a kid. At recess I would delve into drawing mazes of different texture and design. As a teenager I excelled in art at St. Pauls Highschool receiving a 97% in my grade 10 year. Then as an adult I started drawing random designs which evolved into rismacolor pencil crayon art. I took graphic communication classes at red river learning programs like photoshop, which aided me into making a series of various fridge magnets. I ended up selling these magnets at the forks and Victoria beach. Later I was in an art show called Art from the Heart, there I found inspiration. I admired a stained glass Eagle which sparked determination to pursue the stained glass medium. Over the years my art in this field has evolved and expanded to all sorts of genre of designs. Everything from contemporary classical concepts all the way to science fiction iconic variety.
In “2012” I had a booth at the Winnipeg Convention ceter comic con. It was a fascinating experience because of all the creativity that surrounded me! From elves to dragons they had it all. My set up contained an assortment of sci-fi related inspired designs, like Yoda, Han Solo and Spider Man. I remember Matt McMillian the now owner Prairie Stained glass whom taught me much, showed up that day. He thinks the spider man is my best work. That was before I topped it with the dungeons and dragon “Red Dragon!!”
In 2016 I constructed my master piece, “The Bursting Red Dragon.” It’s a dragron creature bursting through a castle window. Surrounded by a painted miral. Its an honor having such a prominent stained glass on display at Game Knight, located at 519 Osborne st, Winnipeg.
his is where all the stained glass magic unfolds. This room stores all the equipment and materials required for my artistic adventures. A grinder, ring saw and soldering iron. As well as a tasty array of glass I’ve collected over the years, all the way from fancy Uroboros manufactured glass to straight forward Spectrum.
I contacted Chris for a stain glass piece for my brother.
From the start it was evident that Chris really cared about the
quality of his work. He revised a few sketches until he was really happy
with the concept (as was I).
The end piece is fantastic, couldn’t be happier with it. It was also a
Christmas present and Chris completed the project well ahead of time.
Thank you so much!

It depends on size and intricacy of the piece. A smaller 12 piece creation could take a few days. A fifty piece specimen could take weeks to months. Also the pattern itself can take a while to perfect.
Creating the pattern is a meticulous and critical process. Often the customer’s vision of what they want changes during the process. This is where I potentially do a series of drafts, striving for the customer’s satisfaction. I design the initial sketch at no cost. When the customer has indicated that the pattern is what they want, I start the next phase which is to buy materials. Before I purchase the materials I require a down payment of 25% of the final cost. Once the project is completed the final payment is required, then I will deliver the work of art.
I create professional grade works of art, which customers treasure and I will spend more time creating a more intricate creation then my competitors. I'm looking for roughly $20 an hour for my services, which is a very competitive rate. Diversity is key. I have much experience with making one of a kind concepts. Whether it’s a prairie scene a beautiful flower all the way to spider man, I got this!
